1st DASC Convention

The 1st DASC Convention – A Hub of Science, Innovation & Friendship

CONVENTION /kənˈvɛnʃn/
Derived from the Latin convenire, meaning « to come together », a convention is an event where like-minded individuals gather to connect, share passions, and engage in related activities.

This is exacly what we aim to achieve on January 11, 2025. We invite the entire dental community to join us at Zurich’s Kraftwerk for the 1st DASC Convention – a day dedicated to exchange and innovation.

The day will kick off with practical workshops and interactive speeddating sessions, providing an opportunity to dive into the latest techniques and tools in a hands-on environment. You can choose between attending a workshop alongside three speed dating sessions or focus on six speed dating sessions for a concentrated, fast-paced learning experience. These sessions are designed to equip you with new skills and insights that you can immediately apply in your practice.

Following the morning’s interactive sessions, we will move into two main visionaries voice lecture sessions, where leading experts will discuss forward-thinking topics, from the impact of digital technologies in dentistry to the future of surgical procedures and dental practice management. These lectures aim to provide you with practical, actionable insights to address the evolving challenges in the dental field.

To conclude the day, we invite you to relax and unwind with an evening of entertainment, featuring a DJ set and live concert at Kraftwerk. It’s the perfect opportunity to continue the networking activities in a nice atmosphere, where you can build lasting professional relationships while enjoying music and great company.

The 1st DASC Convention is set to redefine dental events, offering a unique blend of innovation, collaboration, and community. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a transformative day of learning and networking.

NETWORKING

Networking is at the heart of the 1st DASC Convention, with numerous opportunities to connect throughout the day. In the small group settings of the speeddating sessions and workshops, you’ll collaborate closely with peers, industry and experts. Informal interactions during lunch and coffee breaks provide the perfect opportunity to discuss insights and meet new colleagues. As the day transitions into the evening, enjoy dinner followed by a lively DJ set, live concert, and party. These events create a fun, relaxed atmosphere to continue building meaningful professional relationships in a celebratory setting.

WORKSHOPS

In the 90-minute workshop sessions, participants have the chance to dive deep into the subject matter, get their hands dirty, and learn from the masters. But it’s not just about learning concepts—it’s about doing and refining practical skills. So roll up your sleeves and get ready to learn—this is where theory meets hands-on action!

You can choose to book one workshop and one speed dating session (covering three topics).

SPEEDDATINGS

A speeddating session is a 25-minute practical and interactive learning experience designed for small groups. In each of the 2 blocks, participants rotate through 3 different stations, exploring a variety of topics with hands-on demonstrations and discussions. Each speeddating gives you the chance to learn specific skills, techniques, or concepts in a dynamic environment that encourages active participation and immediate feedback. Who knows, by the end, you might just think, « It’s a match! »

You can choose to book either two speed dating sessions (covering six topics) or one speed dating session combined with a workshop for a well-rounded learning experience.
